Licensed Clinical Social Worker · LCSW

You've done enough.
Now let's heal.

Are you the high-achieving adult who holds everything together — but quietly running on empty? I offer individual therapy for adults who are ready to finally put themselves first.

I also provide psychological immigration evaluations — a separate, specialized service for individuals navigating the immigration process.

Two areas of expertise,
one dedicated practice.

Individual Therapy

Therapy for adults who grew up doing too much, feeling too responsible, and never asking for help. Whether you're the child of immigrants carrying the weight of two worlds, or simply someone who has always pushed through — this is your space to slow down.

  • Adult children of immigrants & first-generation Americans
  • Anxiety, perfectionism & overachieving
  • Burnout from chronic multitasking
  • Parentification & people-pleasing patterns
  • Depression & life transitions
  • Trauma, relationship issues & identity

  • Hardship evaluations (I-601 / I-601A)
  • U-Visa & VAWA evaluations
  • Asylum psychological evaluations
  • Trauma documentation for legal proceedings
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) evaluation process
  • Legally defensible written reports

"You learned to survive by doing more. Therapy is where you learn it's safe to do less."

For the ones who
carry it all.

You grew up fast. Maybe you were the translator, the problem-solver, the one who figured things out so your parents didn't have to. You learned early that needing help was a luxury — so you became someone who never needed it.

Now you're a high-functioning adult. You accomplish a lot. But you're also anxious, exhausted, and running on fumes. You're not sure how to slow down — or if you even deserve to.

You do. And I'm here to help you get there.

```
Can't stop overachieving
Guilt around rest
01
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
ART is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories quickly — often in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy. It's gentle, effective, and specifically designed for trauma.
02
Trauma-Informed Care
Every session is grounded in an understanding that your nervous system has been shaped by your experiences. I create a safe, regulated space where healing doesn't require you to re-live what hurt you.
03
Culturally Responsive
I specialize in the unique experience of children raised in the US to immigrant parents — the pride, the pressure, the grief, and the beauty of living between worlds. I see the whole of who you are.
Hi, I'm Yadira.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychological Immigration Evaluator with over a decade of experience. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work in 2012, and I've spent my career at the intersection of mental health, trauma, and cultural identity.
My therapy practice is especially close to my heart because I understand what it means to navigate multiple worlds. I work with adults — many of them first-generation Americans or children of immigrants — who have spent their whole lives achieving, adapting, and pushing through.
I also provide psychological immigration evaluations as a separate professional service, bringing the same care, rigor, and cultural sensitivity to every report I write.
Sessions are offered in English. Spanish is also available for those who prefer it.
